Reiki has helped me in many
ways but it has been through
the rediscovery of my love for drawing that I was able to find myself again.

I believe reconnecting with ourselves is an important step in our healing journey, a step that can propel us forward to discover our true potential as human beings.

My name’s Maria, although everyone knows me as Inma! I’m a CNHC registered Reiki Master and teacher and a therapeutic meditation teacher. I come from an art and design background, and I’ve worked in design and branding for over 20 years. I found Reiki (or Reiki found me!) when I was going through a difficult time in my life. I was dealing with high levels of anxiety and low self-worth, which were taking me down the wrong path. Through Reiki, I was able to experience positive changes, and this inspired me to help others going through similar situations.

During my Reiki journey, I rediscovered my love for drawing, which had been lost over time. Drawing helps me refocus my energy, quiet my mind and manage my emotions, making it one of my most treasured well-being rituals. Reconnecting with my art background was a catalyst for positive change in my life. I believe reconnecting with ourselves is an important step in our healing journey, a step that can propel us forward to discover our true potential as human beings.

I also enjoy practising Yoga, Qigong, meditation and of course Reiki, which as a Reiki Master, is part of my daily routine I’ve also been learning and exploring the fascinating world of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and incorporating this knowledge into my practice.

To ensure the highest level of professionalism, I’m registered with the ICO, I’m a member of the UK Reiki Federation and DBS checked. Additionally, I volunteer as a distant practitioner for Reiki Medic Care since 2020.
I’m proudly registered with the CNHC (registrant number is CNHC07609). This registration signifies that I have undergone a thorough verification of my knowledge and ability, not only regarding the Reiki technique but also in professional conduct, patient safety, and relevant legislation.

The CNHC is the independent UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners set up with government support to protect the public. They set the required professional standards that practitioners need to meet to gain accreditation and be included in the register. CNHC's register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament. The Department of Health recommends that anyone looking for complementary health practitioners use someone who is registered with CNHC.

From my therapy room in Culcheth, Cheshire, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for you to heal and grow at your own pace, and empower you with well-being rituals and techniques that can be integrated into your daily life, helping you reconnect to your true self and unlock your full potential.
